Fall Portraits

November 16, 2011

The weather was overcast, the leaves were orange and the wind was strong. Probably the most ideal shooting conditions I've ever been in.

Our neighbors' kids Aaron and Ben (my name sake) were having a birthday party at Overton park. I took a ton of photos. But I decided to clean up a few a put them up. I used my Canon T3i and 18-55mm IS lens to shoot. ISO was at about 100. Shutter speed was at about 125 and aperture at about f/7.5. I really love the way these came out. This made me realize that I am drawn more to portrait photography more so than still life or landscape. I hope to be getting a 50mm f/1.8 (because I can't afford f/1.2) and a 18-200mm lens soon. Anyway, hope you like the photos.
