This is my son Liam. He'll be 2 on this Thanksgiving. As you can see he has a runny nose that is getting the best of his face. I took these photos in hopes to learn more about using the flash on my camera. Shooting in black and white seems to make it easier to learn this technique. I used a shutter speed of 1/30, aperture of f5.6 and ISO of 400.
The result was surprisingly awesome. I love the sharpness of the photos. The AI focus setting made for a quicker shot to catch my rambunctious 2 year old's expression. Hope you enjoy them.
